Our Mission

Leading indigenous children across the digital divide.
Transforming education.
Conserving cultural heritage.

We help to bridge the educational technology divide.

Our Focus: Indigenous Children

Indigenous children in Latin America deserve the opportunity to receive a comprehensive education.

The circumstances of their birth, wealth of their parents, and oppression by society should not limit a child’s ability to experience the joy of learning at their own pace and without limits.

Our Partners: Teachers, Parents and Community

We form in-depth partnerships rather than simply supplying computers.

Before any laptops arrive, we visit the communities to understand their culture, context, and current reality.

We seek guidance and approval from elders, the resguardo’s governor, and spiritual leaders.

We hold active discussions with the community:
school administration, teachers and parents.

The Corporate World

We are thankful for our sponsors.
Without their support and generosity, our work is not possible.

Our Implementation Process:

Our 3-day course is adapted to train teachers in different pedagogies and how to effectively integrate computers into the learning process.

We focus on ecopedagogy and constructionism which are harmonious with indigenous pedagogies.

Computer-assisted education is particularly helpful in remote multigrade and one-teacher schools.

It is also useful for students who need to go at a different pace than the rest of the class. Advanced students can access content beyond the knowledge of their teachers.
