Ted Hein. Founder and director of Repurpose-IT. During a trip to Peru in 2007, he saw an opportunity to use computers to overcome oppression and the challenges faced by rural schools in developing countries.

Upon returning to his work in corporate Information Technology, Ted saw firsthand the obligation to reuse ‘’obsolete” computers in a socially responsible manner rather than recycling them.

He has worked with indigenous communities around the globe, most recently with a focus on those in Colombia.

Ted is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a highly successful career in IT management for socially responsible companies.
